To celebrate America’s First Settlement, Visit Pensacola is hosting the inaugural Pensacola Discovery Days Celebration. Taking place at the Pensacola Visitors Information Center, August 14-15, 2018, event guests will be treated to a Pensacola storytelling session by famed historian John Appleyard and a Pensacola historic trolley tour with Beach Bum Trolleys including beer and wine tastings.    

Additional activities include light refreshments, artifacts on display from Destination Archeology Resource Center and the Perdido Bay Indian Tribe will share their Sourtheastern Native Cultural, and more. Activities will begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. each day. Trolley tickets are $10. Otherwise, the event is free to the public. 

9:30am-10:30am: Pensacola stories by famed historian John Appleyard

10:45am: Pensacola Discovery Days Trolley Tour – Narrated custom tour unveiling Pensacola history, iconic places and unique points of interest with photo opportunities along the way. Complimentary tasting from Perfect Plain Brewery and De Luna Winery. Apx. 1 hour; $10 per person. Departs and returns at Pensacola Visitor Information Center. Apx. 1 hour; $10 per person.

 11am- 1pm:  Artifacts on display from Destination Archeology Resource Center (Aug 14th) and the Perdido Bay Indian Tribe (Aug. 15th)
